Welcome
at the "Screaming Hornets", 1st squadron of the 8th fighter
wing, homebased in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.
There is no
historical background about this wing, this all is more or less virtual.
Any correspondence with actual or historic national markings or air wings
is intentionally. This might be due to the fact, that a majority of our
founding comrades are former East-German Airforce members.
Our
wing is based on chivalry, fair-play, comradeship and courage, but first
of all we enjoy flying. Any new entries are welcome, some flying practice
would be helpful, but is not mandatory. We will be happy if You put some
lines in our Guestbook!
